A french writer and journalist, Maurice Talmeyr once mentioned how it’s possible to rule the society and shape it in a way you want with publications. In today’s age, that’s media. We are not sure if you think either this dot of ours is blue or orange. Your perception can alter easily within the right conditions. You might see it as a bluedot, or an orange one.
Even if there is no manipulation, you might still have absurd standing points on something. You are still manipulated with the light of your former knowledge. You can never have a 100% objective opinion, it’s either manipulated by others, meaning the books you read, the news you listen to, the friends you are constantly exposed to, or you are manipulated by yourself. Your old-self.
In this world, where objectivity is something we can pursue, but only partially achieve, digitalization made everything even harder. We all know that.
But let’s try to change it, slightly. That’s only possible if we have different angles to a subject, so this is where we stand, bluedot helps with that.
Soumen will look from the orange side and I, Ege, will look from the blue side. We’ll stay true to our colors and we invite you to add your color into the palette.
